Hello All
We are looking at project that may use Alfresco as the backend CMS
Has anyone looked at the combination of a Windev front end to an Alfresco backend ?

What woukld you like to do with windev? It seems to me that alfresco has covert all the bases

Certainly, in terms of the document management, Alfresco is very good, but our client wants us to look at integrating it into a simple document manager we wrote for them some years ago.
I am just getting started with it and I think the documents are held in a MySQL database so there is possibly scope to interface with it at that level. The existing web interface is good but basic.
If you want to have a play with it there is a great installation package on bitnami.

May be I miss the point.. But if it is just about document sharing, why not create a binding to Google Drive ? Real time sync. is build-in.. WX Implemetation should be a piece of cake.

I had a look at Google but I do need the extra bells and whistles that Alfresco provides and a cloud solution is not appropriate for this app.
