Do you know the website???

Startbeitrag von Paul@ukdx am 26.06.2013 09:15

I'm sure I had this bookmarked but I can't find it. It's a personal website of a DXer who takes holidays abroad, visits broadcast transmitter sites and posts the photos of them. I've a feeling he maybe Dutch but I can't remember for sure, I do know he visited the Dubai E2 site as there were lots of photos of the mast in the desert. Pretty sure he went to the old Kopaonik site in Serbia too.

Does anyone know the site, it's driving me mad not being able to find it!

Hi Paul,

I think I know which one you mean, because I also saw TV-tower of JRTV Jordan on E3 there:

Thank you Mathias! It's been bugging me for a while that every entry I see for the Dubai on E2 still lists it as the World Trade Centre when I knew it was out in the desert, assuming it still is desert the speed they're building in Dubai. :joke:

This excellent site is operated by some dutch DXer called Hepke van der Ploeg.
This is his youtube site started recently: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ96rbiG5aUg80ytW70yvxA
It already carries lots of interesting FM DX movies!

Sadly, he hasn't joined our forum yet.

By the way...dunno why he chose some strange URL for YT ?!?
cannot find any "real name" for that channel?
