My New Elad

Trying out my new Elad FDM-S2. I'm very pleased with it so far. This recording was made without any preamp inline.

I haven't used my conventional Kenwood/Sony SB920 tuners at all since I got the Elad. I think in future it will just be the Elad, Sony XDR and Airspy.

How is the reception and RDS speed compared with the XDR with Oliver software?
Has the Elad his own RDS or is RDS spy included?

Has the Elad his own RDS or is RDS spy included?

Hi Ruud. Reception is at least as good as the XDR but RDS with the Elad is much quicker.
Yes the Elad has it's own RDS decoder which is very good. I also use RDS Spy with it which is very fast and sensitive. In the video I posted you can see RDS Spy working :)

The Elad s/w? Yes it does show RT but not AF's. But Spy does both of course.
