[WD17] Table linked to a array of structure

Startbeitrag von Michael Drechsel am 06.02.2013 18:22

Hi,

I have a table with a content linked to a array of structure.
If I allow the cascading input of new rows the new lines are not part of the array.
Whats wrong ?

Antworten:

Hello Micheal,

Nothing. that is the way it works you have to add the new row to the array yourself

DW.

From the help.

Operating mode, programming and synchronization of a table on source
Adding an element

1. Adding an element into the source of the table:
To carry over an addition performed in the source of the Table control, you must use TableDisplay associated with the taInit constant. The selection and the sort performed by the user are lost.

2. Adding an element to the Table control (cascading input):

To manage the cascading inputs, the additions must be performed by programming in the source.

We advise you to:

Perform the additions one by one in the code used to exit from the row.
Use TableDisplay (associated with the taInit constant) to update the "links" between the table rows and the elements found in the source.

Hi,

thx, I had read that also later yesterday. It would be nice if WX can handle this itself.

Hi Guenter,

thx. I take a look at this.

Fortunatly I found yesterday the array statement

growth=N

which make it easier for me to copy a table back in array.
