How to Generate Andoid Executable

Startbeitrag von Rajan Dahal am 20.05.2013 08:51

Hello Friends,

I have developed a small android app in WD Mobile 17. When I try to generate android executable WD Mobile can not find Android SDK.

I have downloaded adt-bundle-windows-x86-20130514 and extracted it. What should I do further to install it so that WD Mobile can generate exe.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestion.

Rajan

Hi,
1. Start Windev Mobile Help
2. Click on Search Magnifier in left top corner of your help window (Third icon)
3. Type: Installing the Android SDK and click on "Find"

On right side you will find all necesary steps you need to do to install android and also to generate EXE.

Read carefully yellow piece of this help. What you need to copy and where from android install directory.

I don't think the emulator works from within WM17 - it hangs, I haven't tried in WM18.

Apparently the emulator can be launched outside of WM and the application tested independently.

Hi Rajan it is possible to generate the android emulator in WM17

but if WM do not create the Virtual Machine of Android SDK
you have to do it

Manually by Console (CMD):
check this post! this help to me..
http://27130.foren.mysnip.de/read.php?27131,148166,148966#msg-148966

Via AVD Manager:
1.- Go to the SDK directory and open AVD Manager.
2.- Select "New" and configure your Virtual Machine.
3.- After the Virtual Machine was created, then start your Virtual Machine (the first time will be too slow so be patient)

i recomend that once the Virtual Machine is created and you want to test your application.
First go to the android AVD Manager and start your emulator.

Hope this help
Best Regards
