How to change the calendar control from Gregorian to Hijri in WD17 & WM17?

Startbeitrag von ech madriaga am 02.09.2013 19:52

Hello,
I'm doing an application which I need to use a Hijri calendar than Gregorian. Is there any option in WD17 and WM17 make the calendar in Hijri?

Regards,
Ech

Hi, no, there's no option to change from Gregorian to Islamic calendar. There's only the possibility to change the 'first day of the week' to any of the seven days, but it will not deal with different day counts for months and that's definitely a show stopper. A solution could be that you purchase an appropriate active-x control or you could build your own islamic calendar control as a WinDev component straight from available WinDev controls.

Re: How to change the calendar control from Gregorian to Hijri in WD17 & WM17?

I change the calendar type in my PC in Hijri format. But when I run my application in this code.
DateToString(DateSys(),"DD/MM/YYYY")
The date in my PC is already a Hijri date format but in my WD application its showing the Gregorian format.
What is the other process to get the system date that is showing in my PC?

Hi Ech,

you could retrieve the system date with DateSys(). But it will be Gregorian, I expect.

Hi Stefan,

Your right, even the system date in my PC is in Hijri but the date showing in my application is Gregorian format by DateSys(). I need the Hijri date not the Gregorian date.
