Internal Windows and Anchoring

Startbeitrag von Gary Williams am 24.11.2013 12:36

I have been playing with Internal Windows and in my tests, the size of controls on the Internal window do not change, even if they are anchored to do so and the window containing the ICW resizes.

IE;
I have a window with 2 controls on it, 1 a Button and 2 an Internal Window Control.
Both are anchored to resize with the window and both do so.

The Internal Window also has 2 controls, a button and a static, these are also anchored to resize with the window.

However when the Internal Window Control changes size, more of the Internal Window is displayed and nothing is resized, even when the ICW becomes bigger than the Internal Window.

Is this the "expected behaviour", can I get controls on the internal window to resize with the ICW? and if so how?

Gary.

Hi Gary
What are you using? It works correctly here (WD17) and my internal windows are configured exactly as you have described.

WD18 - it's a simple project, these are the only windows.

Hi Gary,

Have you resized the internal window? - When I open an internal window I pass the width and height of the "Internal window Container" as parameters.

Procedure iw_MyInternalWindow(iHeight,iWidth)

iw_MyInternalWindow..height = iheight
iw_MyInternalwindow..Width = iwidth
