Hi,
I have an app designed for a 10" tablet 1280x800. Works great. The main window is a maximized one, covering the whole screen.
Now I have a Samsung TAB3, 8", and according to the specs also 1280x800.
But my app kind of disappears. Actually it looks like the tablet is trying to stretch the mainwindow. But in effect it keeps stretching to at least 100 times the size I need. Far too big.
After setting the mainwindow in WM to a fixed size 1280x800, instead of maximized, it looks like normal again.
However on the TAB 3 is doesn't fit on the screen. On the right an bottom there is missing something like 1/5 of the window.
After some reading I found out that this TAB3 uses a different "density" or "scaling factor".
Can some shine a ligth on this? Does WM handle this correctly?

I think that the problem indeed. I designed the screens on a Trasnformer (TF101) as well. The S3 is somewhat smaller, when taken the density into account.
This then raised another problem. W e designed this app for a customer and he wanted as much info on the screen as possible. Maybe we need separate screens now for other kinds of tabs.
