WD 14 programming charter

Startbeitrag von Piet van Zanten am 31.07.2009 09:51

Hi,

I am using a customized programming charter. However Windev is not following my charter. Some examples:

I defined the structure prefix to be "str_". Windev always puts "ens" in front of this
I defined integers to be "n". This works fine, except in classes. Here Windev puts "m_" in front of it. Are these bugs that I should report to PCsoft, or am I doing something wrong?

Regards,
Piet

Hi Piet...

I don't know the answer for the str_ problem, but the other one is
easy... a variable in class is called a member, and members have their
specific extension entry in the charter (m_ of course)... So for your
integer variable ina class, you hsould have m_ or m_n as prefix...

Best regards

usually this kind of prefix is used for class membres (m_)
ens should be the same for global definitions, in a the
project/window/global initialization code.
A local variable should not do the same thing.

Ok I could find it on the scope of variables tab. Still I wonder about the "ens". Can't find it on any charter tab.

Thanks, Fabrice and Goof
