[WD12] Creating a template from an existing window...

Startbeitrag von DarrenF am 03.02.2010 12:36

Hi guys,

In my haste to sort out my "creating a new window and my "select a template" window hanging" problem - I seem to have lost 1 of my templates.

I've still not sorted the hanging problem (PCS say my template(s) are corrupt but WD hangs all over the place - display the select a template window, displaying the project info window, applying a skin template to a window etc...etc... - anyway that's another problem! ...but any suggestions on this are still welcome as well...)

...anyway, back to the subject - I've misplace a template - so far I've re-created a template from one of the windows and removed all the window specific stuff to leave just the objects/controls that I had on my original template, but is there a way I can re-associate the template with my windows without loosing certain aspects of the windows, aspects such as the code behind the buttons etc...???

I hope this makes sense?

Any help or advice would be greatly received - thanks in advance! :spos:

Hi Javier,

Yes, I've done that -

I've made it back into the original template in look and features, the bit I'm struggling with is re-linking to the template back to the window without loosing the functionality of the original window...

I think the only way to do it is manually - I was wondering if there is an easire (automatic) way of re-applying the temaplte to the window?
