[WD21] Dialog function error

Startbeitrag von Ned! am 25.08.2016 11:10

Hi All,

I have an error message appearing in my project:

Dialog function called.
The question used is not in the project.

'Dialog' function, syntax 0

What happened?
The question used is not in the project.

Error code: 10200
Level: fatal error

Dump of the error of 'wd210obj.dll' module (21.0.430.25).
Identifier of detailed information (.err): 10200
Debugging information:
Fonction (1,264)

If I edit the question in the wizard, then the error goes away - but I don't really want to edit every message in my project.

Does anybody have any ideas what might have caused it, or how I can fix it without opening the wizard for each question?

Thanks,
Ned!

Hi Everyone

We are also experiencing this issue. It seems to have started since our upgrade from Windev 18 to Windev 21. As Ned stated, checking the question out of the SCM and back in again appears to fix the issue (even if no changes are made within the wizard), but it also seems to be a recurring issue. Questions that we have previously fixed in this way have gone missing again when we have created a new branch of the project, and also when we checked the SCM for errors.

Any ideas on how to fix this permanently would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Phil.

Hi Everyone

We still don't know why this is happening, but we found that if you check out a dialog / input box and de-select the auto check-in option, you can re-compile the project and it seems to correct all of the dialog / input question missing errors, instead of having to do them all individually.

The problem still seems to be re-occurring however, so if anyone has any more information on this it would be appreciated.

Phil.
