[WM] Loop de Loop - looper

Startbeitrag von Geoff B am 23.09.2016 04:03

Not that experienced with WM, have been prompted to have another look at it.

I want to create a list of Orders and Order Details...

Order No: 1234
Customer: John Smith
Milk 2 L
Bread 1 loaf
Potatoes 1 Kg
----------------------------------------
Order No: 1276
Customer: John Jones
Cola 2 L
Rolls 2
Carrots 1 Kg
Eggs 1 Dozen
Fish 1 Kg
----------------------------------------

...is it possible to create this style of list? I have previously used a LOOPER to create a list, but don't know if it is possible to have a LOOPER within a LOOPER, or if there is some other control, or method to achieve this?

Hi Geof,

you don't need a loper inside a looper to do this. A single looper will do. You just need a separator field that is visible only on separation lines and all the other invisible in that case.

Best regards

Hi.
I tried to do the same thing with a simple looper, and had some issues. If I remember correctly the issue was one of these:

-Either I could not change the heights of each row of the looper independently
-Or I could change the row heights, but then the looper would not scroll enough to show the last rows.

So I ended up using two Multiline Looper. And also some adjust by programming was necesary to calculate the heigth of each row of the main looper.

Regards,
José Antonio.
