[WB21] anchor right

Startbeitrag von Piet van Zanten am 27.12.2016 16:35

In spite of the many quirks an with extreme tenacity I was able to reach an almost acceptable responsive template.
There's one little thing that should be simple, but blocks my way to the final design.

If I anchor one or more elements to the right in responsive design mode, then they immediately jump to the extreme top left position in the editor and because they are in overlay error with the image on the left they take the color purple that I have become so familiar with. (My dreams are purple nowadays)

If I then drag them to the right place (top right position), they jump offscreen to the right (sometimes more than 2000px) and again become purple.
So unless I set anchor to left there's no way to place these controls anywhere on my page header.
So right anchor a simple solution, but I cannot use it for unknown reasons.

Once it was possible to anchor right, but no matter what I try it just want work anymore.
I can anchor to the left, but then when resizing the browser these controls get caught up by the right border and move to unwanted positions.
It's probably a bug, but could there be a collision with settings in other controls, the containing parent cell or the page?
Has anyone had this problem and was able to find the cause or a workaround?

yes you can abnchor to a certain parent cel if you want. Do not go the anchoring in the description. Right click on the control an choos anchor. If not availeble It might be that the control first need be set to overflow ( or something do not know from exactly tthe term)

his way you can set it to .left right or middle etc.

Hi Allard,

Did you try that in responsive mode?
Webdev just goes bananas when I anchor to the right, read my post.
