SMPP over Http

Startbeitrag von ICI am 23.03.2017 19:34

My telecom provider offer SMPP protocol over http request. This is they sample.

Can somebody help and write here one sample, how to make this with windev.

Thank you !

you just need to do a httprequest with a completed URL string. Something like that:
asURL is ansi stirng="http://:/gateway/receiver/?from=%1&to=%2&text=%3";

Best regards

A better way to go is with something like mailgun.com or others. Still uses HTTP requests, or traditional SMTP, is well documented, and if you switch telecom providers, there is nothing to change in the app.. We send 100k messages a month through mailgun via our app. Works great.

Thank you for your answer Fabrice !
I will absolute try it over http.
So, I need 7000 Http requests to send 7000 SMS ?

Mr.Black. Is this correct? Up to 10.000 SMS is free for every month ?????
If I don't have more the 7000 monthly, this mean I use this for free?
How you integrate MailGun with Windev ?
This is absolutely new to me and never used SMS from software.

Thank you.

Hi ICI..

I miss understood. Thought you were referencing SMTP (email). I didn't realize you were doing SMS... Mailgun is for email. Sorry for the confusion...
