Turn off/on the display of the selection bar for a table column

Startbeitrag von John Marrone am 08.12.2010 12:09

Hi
Does anyone know if you can turn off/on the display of the selection bar for a table column with code. I know you would code it something like tblEntries[row].ColumnName..? = True/False. Is there a property for this. I couldn't find one but maybe I am missing something. Thanks for any help.

P.S. I just want to un highlight 1 column of the row, not the whole row. I have a table with 5 columns. When a row is highlighted I don't want column #3 to be highlighted. I have a column that is colored coded and the highlight bar takes out the color. In the description box for the table and you select a column in the details tab you have a checkbox to control this for the column. But I need to turn the highlight for this 1 column in the row on and off and leave the rest of the row highlighted when it is the current row. And I need to do this at run time. Hope this is clear enough to understand what I need to do. Thanks

Hi,
Tableselectminus(tablename,Tableselect(tablename))
deselects any selected row.

Regards.

If I use the context-sensitive help and hover that checkbox you mention ("display the selection bar") it says column..BarVisible.

Hello John

Turn off the selection bar for the row.

..BarVisible = False

Thanks for your input Arie.

DW, thanks. That works -> tblEntries.HrsName..BarVisible = False. I knew there had to be a way. Thank you again.
