Miniaturansichten von Materialien

Startbeitrag von MichaelO am 22.11.2017 02:30

Hallo allerseits,
Danke, Michael

Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem in Pytha V22 and V21. I have a large materials library, but when I edit a material it removes the preview image from the material browser. Does anyone else have this issue, or anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks, Michael

Hi Michael,

did you move yotr textures to another path and do you have access right for your textures?

Sincerely

Hi Cornelius,

Yes, I have tried moving the textures and .mat file to another path (I tried multiple locations, all of which I have access rights), but I am still encountering the same issue. I also have this problem when creating new material files.

I've included a screenshot to help explain the problem.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi there MichaelO.
I’ve had the same problem with the textures been invisible after being edited. I found editing and saving any textures in Photo Shop would make the texture invisible in the browser. But using Microsoft Picture manager to edit and save would make the texture visible, or you can still use Photo Shop to edit, But after saving the image you mast open it in Microsoft Picture manager and save it in that program to have the texture visible in the Pytha texture browser.
Hope this works for you MichaelO.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately this didn't work for me. I have tried to edit and save the file using Photoshop, Microsoft Picture Manager and Paint, in different file types (JPG, PNG).

Thanks,
MichaelO

Hi there...
Perhaps your pictures are saved in CMYK and not in RGB mode .....?
